Stockholm
Full-time
Permanent employee

Norvestor Private Equity

Join one of the Nordics' fastest-growing private equity firms in a high-impact environment focused on accelerating technology-enabled businesses. At Norvestor, digitalization, AI, and automation are core levers for value creation and long-term competitiveness.

You will join our growing Digital & Operational Excellence team in Stockholm. Reporting to the Chief Digital Officer, this is a individual contributor role working closely with investment professionals and central functions to own, build, and continuously improve Norvestor’s internal data and technology environment through hands-on implementation and delivery.

We are looking for an IT and Operations AI Lead to own and accelerate Norvestor's internal IT stack, tools, and digital infrastructure for scalability and quality. This is a high-impact role at the core of how Norvestor operates, ensuring our systems, workflows, and data environment are scalable, secure, and built for the future.

This is the first dedicated hire in this role at Norvestor. That means a real opportunity to shape the role, establish ways of working, and build a new function from the ground up, in a team building a modern, scalable internal technology environment with full backing from our providers, the Digital team, and senior leadership.

You will act as product owner for our internal platforms and tools, drive automation and workflow improvements, and lead AI implementation into our day-to-day operations. You will be the go-to person to move ideas into live solutions, making Norvestor's internal technology work smarter, today and as we grow.

Who you are:
You understand both the technical and the human side of systems, how tools should work, how people actually use them, and how to bridge the gap. You have hands-on experience from a similar role, having owned and developed IT environments, platforms, or digital infrastructure in a professional services, financial services, or comparable high-demand environment. You are structured and pragmatic, and comfortable working independently in a lean team. You are comfortable operating at both strategic and detailed levels. You take ownership, think long-term, and are motivated by creating systems and workflows that make a real difference to the people around you.

Impact and mandate:
The mandate is execution: designing, building, and implementing solutions that improve how Norvestor operates on a daily basis. You will drive the development and continuous improvement of Norvestor’s internal technology, IT, and security environment, acting as tech lead and product owner for core systems. In this capacity, you will design and evolve tools, data, and workflows in line with Norvestor’s current and future ways of working, ensuring scalability by design, strong data integration across systems, and long-term growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Internal Technology & IT Environment: Together with our managed service provider and partners, design, implement, and manage Norvestor’s internal technology environment hands-on, including configuring systems, improving workflows, and resolving day-to-day operational issues in collaboration with providers to support a growing and increasingly digital organization.
  • Productivity, Automation & AI Implementation: Lead the implementation of AI tools and workflows into Norvestor's internal operations by identifying, building, and implementing automation and AI-driven workflows across deal teams and central functions, turning opportunities into live solutions used in daily work.
  • Scalable Architecture & Data Interoperability: Ensure scalable architecture, data interoperability, and integration across internal systems, enabling reuse of data and efficient cross-system workflows. Design for the future, not just for today.
  • Product Ownership of Internal Platforms: Act as product owner for key internal platforms and tools, including CRM, deal, and portfolio management systems, ensuring they support deal team workflows and Norvestor's investment processes. Define requirements and actively implement and configure solutions across core platforms (e.g. CRM, deal tools), ensuring they work in practice and are adopted by users.
  • IT Governance, Cyber Security & Compliance: Ensure IT governance, cyber security, risk management, and regulatory compliance across Norvestor's internal environment. Own our security posture, data protection practices, and GDPR compliance, working with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure we meet the standards required of a leading pan-European PE firm handling sensitive financial data.
  • Hands-on Implementation & Troubleshooting: Take ownership of implementation, configuration, and continuous improvement of systems and tools. Act as the go-to person for solving practical issues, improving usability, and ensuring systems work reliably in day-to-day operations.
  • Vendor & Partner Management: Lead vendor and partner management, including sourcing, performance management, and cost control. Build and maintain strong relationships with key technology partners and service providers.

Your profile

  • 5+ years of experience in IT systems ownership, technology management, or a similar internal technology role, ideally in PE environment, professional services or financial services.
  • Hands-on experience implementing AI tools and automation into live operational workflows
  • Commercially minded, with a clear focus on turning technology into real business impact
  • Strong product ownership mindset, with experience managing and evolving internal platforms and tools with multiple stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of system architecture, data integration, IT security, and governance, including hands-on experience with cloud environments, collaboration platforms, CRM systems, and workflow automation tool,
  • Comfortable working across both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business needs into system requirements and vice versa
  • Self-driven and comfortable operating independently in a lean team, as this is a hands-on role where you will need to be comfortable handling both strategic and practical matters
  • Fluent in English; Scandinavian language skills are a plus

What success looks like:
  • Core systems are actively used and continuously improved to support Norvestor’s ways of working and scalability
  • AI and automation reduce non-value-adding tasks and embed efficiency into daily workflows across teams
  • Manual processes have been replaced with scalable, reliable solutions
  • Norvestor operates with a more integrated, data-driven, and efficient technology environment
